Our Roofing Services
Asphalt Shingle Roofing
Asphalt shingles are the most popular choice for roofing because they come in dozens of colors and are less expensive to install, making them a customizable and affordable option. We only use the highest quality and most durable asphalt shingles, but if something does go wrong, you are backed by a strong warranty program. One of the most popular brands of asphalt shingles we carry is CertainTeed, which offers a broad range of color and style choices.
Cedar Shingle Roofing
Cedar shingles can enhance the original natural beauty of your home for a more contemporary look or emphasize its older architectural details. We use Maibec shingles brand, as they're very high quality and come in a virtually endless variety of solid colors and semi-transparent stains. Depending on our clients' preferences, we also use shingles and other materials from local sawmills.
Roofing Underlayment
Grace Ice & Water Shield® self-adhered roofing underlayment is our choice for roofing. According to the manufacturer, this is "a premier membrane composed of two waterproofing materials—an aggressive rubberized asphalt adhesive backed by a layer of slip resistant coated high density cross laminated polyethylene film. The rubberized asphalt surface is backed with a foldless release paper that protects its adhesive quality. During application, the release paper is easily removed, allowing the rubberized asphalt to bond tightly to the roof deck. The Ripcord® embedded in the adhesive provides the applicator a 'split release on demand' feature."
Roofing Insulation
For insulation, we usually use recycled cellulose in place of fiber glass. Cellulose insulation has fire-retardant components and and is manufactured from recycled paper sources such as newspapers. It's a great insulation material because of its energy-efficiency, durability, longevity, and environmental- friendliness. Many homeowners prefer cellulose insulation over fiber glass because of these great benefits!
