• GCP Applied Technologies will replace at no charge any product proved to have a material defect within 12-months of purchase, provided it has been applied in accordance with written directions for uses they recommend as suitable for this product.

Depending on the type of shingles you purchase (eastern white cedar shingles or stave lake shingles) Maibec has different stipulations in their various warranties.

• Eastern White Cedar Shingles: 50 year limited warranty on their siding from the date of purchase protecting against wood decay. 
• Stave Lake Shingles: This warranty can vary from 15-50 years.
